Latino Arte and Culture y Brown Eyes Teatro iniciaron la celebración del Día de los Muertos en el Norte de Nevada hace 21 años, presentando por primera vez una obra de teatro bilingüe. Este evento sirvió de inspiración para que otros grupos comenzaran a organizar más eventos de este tipo en la ciudad.
En 2019, presentamos el Primer Festival de Día de Muertos, el cual fue parcialmente interrumpido por la pandemia de COVID-19 en 2020. Sin embargo, retomamos la celebración en 2021, 2022, 2023, y este 2024 regresamos con más sorpresas para celebrar la vida de quienes ya no están.
Latino Arte and Culture and Brown Eyes Teatro started the Day of the Dead celebration in Northern Nevada 21 years ago, presenting a bilingual play for the first time. This event served as inspiration for other groups to begin organizing similar events in the city.
In 2019, we presented the First Day of the Dead Festival, which was partially interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. However, we resumed the celebration in 2021, 2022, 2023, and now, in 2024, we return with even more surprises to celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us.
