It's Family Art Workshop with Angels Gate Cultural Center!

Angels Gate offers monthly free art workshops. All are welcome. Art activities for kids and adults, ages 1 to 101!

¡Es el Taller de Arte Familiar con el Centro Cultural Angels Gate!

Angels Gate ofrece mensualmente talleres de arte gratuitos. Todos son bienvenidos. Actividades artísticas para niños y adultos, ¡de 1 a 101 años!

In this workshop, we will learn about the significance of calaveras ( skulls) and cempasúchils ( marigolds) for Dia De Los Muertos cultural practices. Participants will learn how to weave with paper and will decorate their calaveras with bright patterns and colors. We welcome participants to add their calavera creation to our community altar inside angels gate cultural center gallery if they wish to!

En este taller, aprenderemos sobre el significado de las calaveras y los cempasúchils (caléndulas) para las prácticas culturales del Día de los Muertos. Los participantes aprenderán a tejer con papel y decorarán sus calaveras con patrones y colores vivos. ¡Invitamos a los participantes a que añadan sus creaciones de calaveras al altar comunitario de la galería del centro cultural Angels Gate, si así lo desean!

Meet your teacher in Building A's Gallery and we will walk over to our classroom in Building G.

Reúnete con tu profesor en la Galería del Edificio A y nos dirigiremos a nuestra aula en el Edificio G.

All materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pets are not allowed inside our galleries or classrooms.

Se proporcionan todos los materiales. Los niños deben estar acompañados por un adulto en todo momento. No se permiten mascotas dentro de nuestras galerías o aulas.
