Don Juan de Miralles, Spanish representative from Cuba to the Continental Congress, traveled into New Jersey and visited George Washington’s headquarters at the Wallace House in May 1779.Celebrate “Dia de Don Juan” at Wallace House & Old Dutch Parsonage with a reading and discussion of the correspondence between George Washington and Don Juan de Miralles during the Revolutionary War.
