Following the inclusion of the Bengali Association's Durga Puja in the Finnish National Inventory of Living Heritage, we are delighted to organise a Dhunuchi Naach Workshop in collaboration with the Helinä Rautavaara Museum.
🔥 What is Dhunuchi Naach?
Dhunuchi Naach is a vibrant and energetic traditional Bengali dance performed with an earthen incense burner called a dhunuchi. Accompanied by the powerful rhythms of the dhak, this unique dance is an inseparable part of the Durga Puja celebrations and beautifully represents the spirit, devotion and joy of Bengali culture.
Come and experience this beautiful tradition, learn the basic movements, feel the rhythm, and celebrate the richness of Bengali folk art and culture with us!
