Run Bangladesh was founded with a clear vision: to elevate local races to international standards and unite running enthusiasts from Bangladesh and around the world. As the driving force behind the Turaag Active Dhaka 25K, we have proudly pioneered a new era of endurance sports in the country.
The journey began with our inaugural edition on March 8, 2024, an event that brought together 2,000 runners from 15 different countries. This historic first season introduced the 25K distance to Dhaka and laid a foundation built on energy, discipline, and community spirit.
Driven by the motto "Run for Better Bangladesh", we have continuously raised the bar. From introducing cutting-edge RFID timing to securing prestigious AIMS membership and World Athletics course certifications, every milestone reflects our commitment to excellence. Our mission goes beyond organising a race; it is about showcasing Dhaka's beauty to a global audience and fostering a healthier, more active lifestyle for all citizens. Now, entering our 4th Edition, the Dhaka 25K stands proudly as the nation's signature road race.
