Course Contents
During this two-day advanced course, participants will learn the diagnosis, physical examination and manual trigger point therapy of selected muscles of the lower half of the body. Theoretical and practical content from the MT 1 course will be repeated and deepened. This is a training program with immediate clinical applicability upon completion. It is a hands-on course with consistent supervision, where participants practice manual trigger point therapy on each other. In addition to the practical work, the current literature will be addressed at the MT 2 courses.

Upon completion of the course, participants will ...
be able to identify the selected muscles of the lower half of the body by surface anatomy, palpation and function and understand their clinical symptoms and perpetuating factors.
be able to identify the features of the trigger points by physical examination and apply this knowledge to the selected muscles of the lower half of the body.
be able to perform manual trigger point therapy for the selected muscles of the lower half of the body.
have updated their anatomy skills and knowledge.
have updated their knowledge about research in the field of myofascial pain syndrome and trigger points.
