DG on the Run to End Polio

On January 10, 2027, I’ll be running the Walt Disney World Marathon to raise funds for Rotary’s fight to eradicate polio. I’m doing this because no child should ever suffer from a disease that is completely preventable. We’re closer than ever to ending polio forever, and now is the time to finish the job.
Every donation is tripled through the Gates Foundation, making an even greater impact in protecting children around the world.
To add a little friendly competition, the highest donating Rotary clubs will have their club names displayed on the back of my marathon shirt as I make my way through the Walt Disney World Marathon course!
I’m excited to take on this challenge and invite every Rotarian, every club, and every friend to join me. Together, we can cross the finish line—and together, we can End Polio Now. ~DG Dennis
