DFW Stop the Violence Jeep Ride

Join us in the National Stop the Violence Jeep Ride! Wear orange to honor all victims of violence. We'll meet near the former Macy's on the southeast corner of the Golden Triangle Mall and end at Hilltop Truck Court in Northlake around 6pm. Hilltop Truck Court features a wide variety of food trucks, live entertainment, a kid's playground, and vendors.
This is a National Event that many Jeep clubs and individual owners are coming together to participate in. T-shirts and flags will be available as details are finalized.
This event was organized in memory of 18-year-old Keon’ne Tremble, who was fatally shot at a July block party on Albion Street on the city’s east side in Detroit. Four others were injured in the same incident.
This ride is organized by Monica Murry, Tremble’s grandmother, who has been working to support families impacted by violence. Murry launched the “Stop the Violence Jeep Ride” to rally the community to take a stand.
Last year, Detroit’s local meet-up took place and participants drove Jeeps and other vehicles in a five-mile route through the city, many wearing orange to symbolize unity against violence. That ride was one of many taking place across the country, with more than 63 Jeep clubs joining the effort.
This year, the movement is even larger and includes Jeeps from more than 30 states across the country. In DFW, the following Jeep Clubs are riding together to demand change and Stop the Violence:
Denton County Jeep Club
Jeeps R Us
Collin County Jeep Club
LoKos Jeep Club
Wheeling and Jeepin
Prosper Jeep Club
The Colony Jeep Club
DFW Jeep Girls
JeepLife Culture LLC
The ride serves as both a tribute and a call to action. Feel free to tell us who you're riding for!
