The DFW Pinball League presents its Ninth event for 2026 with another massive event.This will be the TITAN PINBALL CHAMPIONSHIP in Grapevine, Texas!
This event runs Friday June 26 through Sunday June 28.
There will also be a side tournament on Thursday night, June 25.
We will be giving away at least $2000 that Titan Pinball has contributed to the prize pool PLUS entry fees (minus actual expenses).
Last year, approximately $35 of each player's entry fee went to the prize pool.
We always try to control expenses and hope to improve that to $40 in 2026!
If we can do that, at $40 per player, if we sell out all 160 spots, and add the $2000 listed above, that would be $8,400 in total prize money.
As an official Pinburgh satellite, we will ALSO be giving A GOLDEN TICKET TO THE PINBURGH WORLD MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP (July 22-26, 2026) to the winner of the tournament. Details at: https://pinburgh.pghpinball.com/

The tournament will also have a 200% TGP value.
The tournament should be an IFPA CERTIFIED PLUS EVENT (Certified PLUS tournaments receive an Event Booster of 150% if there are 128 or more rated players - otherwise the booster would be 125%).

All games for this event will be coming from PRIVATE collections and NO COIN DROPS will be needed!
PLEASE NOTE:
Event is limited to 160 PARTICIPANTS that will be split into TWO (2) groups of 80.
Groups are based on when you will be qualifying - there is an AM group and a PM group.
REGISTRATION AND PREPAYMENT ARE REQUIRED --
Registration opens on TUESDAY APRIL 21, 2026 at 7:00 PM Central Time via Eventbrite.
As soon as I am able, after I receive your registration payment, I will add you to the registration list on matchplay.events ... To see if you are registered (since I am manually adding you), watch the matchplay pages for this event. I will update this listing with the exact matchplay page prior to the event.
COST, WAITLIST AND REFUND TERMS:
Cost is $59 per person -and- its REALLY $59 per player.
There are NO Eventbrite platform fees added to that!
This price does NOT include the Warmup Tournament.
Warmup Tournament is $10 Cash Only at the door on THURSDAY JUNE 25 at 6:00 PM with doors opening at 5:30 PM.
Refunds will be offered through Eventbrite until 14 Days prior to the event.
* No refunds will be issued for any reason after that date *
If you are added to the waitlist and a spot comes open, you must respond to the Eventbrite notification within 36 hours.
Otherwise the spot will "Expire" and be offered to the next person on the waitlist.
If you reach out to me AFTER that time and the spot is still open you can still claim it .

TOURNAMENT FORMAT AND DETAIL for EACH Tournament:
***** FOR BOTH TOURNAMENTS - THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND THE WARMUP - PLAYERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE OUTSIDE OF THE PUBLISHED PRACTICE TIMES AND NO PLAYING GAMES BETWEEN ROUNDS *****
Warmup Tournament format to be determined as it gets closer (no pre-registration for that one) and is being run on site by Carpool Pinball!
THE TITAN PINBALL CHAMIONSHIP:
QUALIFYING is a Group Matchplay tournament on Friday and Saturday (both days are required).
There will be two groups -> the 10:00 AM group and the 5:00 PM group
Each group will play at the same time on both days.
There will be 10 rounds with 2 games per round.
FINALS is a Group Elimination tournament, similar to PAPA Style.
This is similar to the above, but with lower performing players being eliminated as we go forward (until there's a winner).
The top 16 players from EACH group with make it to the A Finals, for 32 total players.
This WILL affect final standings.
The next 8 players from each group will make it to the B finals. B Division playoffs is playing for money - they do NOT affect final standings (as per published IFPA rules).
The B Division is restricted as follows for this event:
No one in the top 1000 in the IFPA as of 6/27/2026 may play in the B Division -- so many of the top players are excluded from the B Division so that ANYONE CAN WIN!

This is in the center of Grapevine, Texas so there are a lot of food choices available.
PINBURGH TICKET:
The Pinburgh ticket will be awarded as follows:
Winner of the A Division finals will receive the Pinburgh ticket.
The ticket is NOT transferrable.
The ticket is refundable only if the winner already has a Pinburgh ticket, and only for 7 days after June 28, 2026.
PRIZE MONEY:
TITAN PINBALL is generously giving us $2000 in cash to give away.
ALSO, we are giving away as MUCH of the entry fees as possible (after expenses).
We are hoping that $40 of every entry can go to the prize pool, but its based on actual expenses and I am not 100% certain what those are yet.
Subject to change if needed, I intend to payout to 16 players in the A division.
Subject to change if needed, I intend to payout to 4 players in the B division.
