The inaugural SpareTime Raceway Tag Team Championship is here — and we're crowning the first champions in track history.
Here's how it works:
Every driver runs a seeding round solo. Then teams are drafted — 1st seed pairs with last seed, 2nd with 2nd-to-last, and so on. Balanced by design. No excuses.
Those teams then run the championship race. Your finish position is your score. 1st = 1 point. 8th = 8 points. Add both teammates' scores together. **Lowest combined score wins the belt.**
🏆 **THE BELT WALL**
Winners' names go on a permanent championship board beneath the belts at SpareTime Raceway. Your name on the wall. Forever.
📆 **MONTHLY CHALLENGERS**
After the inaugural champions are crowned, new challenger teams are determined once per month using the same seeding and draft format. Current champions defend the belt. Every month, someone new gets a shot.
💵 **$20 entry fee** — collected at the track. This is not a payout event. This is bragging rights, championship belts, and a place in SpareTime Raceway history.
📋 **Registration deadline: July 15, 2026**
