Dewey is a queer artist and promoter based in Kansas City, MO. With a deep passion for soundsystem and club sounds, their sets span a range of genres, creating a unique world of self-expression and unapologetic joy.
As a co-host of Wavelength, a KC-based party, Dewey is dedicated to promoting liberation for all through the authentic creative expression of inspired artists, DJs, producers, and healers in Kansas City and beyond.
One of Dewey's core intentions as an artist and curator is to help others connect with themselves and with one another through the transformative power of music across all genres. By recognizing music's universal ability to inspire and heal, Dewey aims to create spaces where people can embrace their true selves, find solace, and build deeper connections within both themselves and their communities, free from the limits placed on us in everyday life.
