Devil's Slide Trail Habitat Maintenance

Devil’s Slide Trail is a 1.3-mile multi-use trail, converted from a former segment of Highway 1, that gives hikers, runners, and bicyclists access the rocky heights of Devil’s Slide above the Pacific Ocean. At provided overlooks, trail users may rest on benches and gaze through observation scopes and take in the view of the rocky coastal waters below.

Join us Saturday, September 5 from 9-noon to help remove invasive weeds around the native plants and enjoy this park's natural wonders! Gloves, tools, and directions will be provided. Some weeds will be easier and "family friendly" and others are more robust!

Please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Sunscreen, snacks, hats, and layers are also great to have on hand in case the weather gets warm or cold! If weather conditions are hazardous, this event will be canceled and we will reach out to participants by email.

Volunteers under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or guardian.

• Youth under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
