Developing A Layered Approach To Church Safety And Security

Held: Amistad Cristiana Church - This is a free seminar that looks at the multiple layers of church security to assist houses of worship to become pro-active as opposed to reactive in responding to potential threats and suspicious behaviors. The goal is to foster a culture of awareness from the parking lot to the Pastor utilizing anything from first aid to lethal force. Topics will include but not be limited to; Biblical justification in protecting the flock, understanding the history of violence within the church, risk reduction and situational awareness, establishing a core team of volunteers and dealing with active threats.
