Develop and Manage Operations Plans Masterclass - LONDON

Designed for supervisors, managers and operations professionals who manage production, or project operations, this masterclass provides the guidance and tools with which managers can develop and implement operational plans to ensure that the objectives and strategies outlined in the strategic and/or business plan are met by work teams.

On completion of the masterclass, you will know how be able to develop complete operational plans, which assign physical resources and schedule and allocate work to teams to enable smooth and efficient production operations.

You will also learn how to measure and monitor performance of the team and operational activities against the plan. In addition, you will learn how to manage risk through the development of contingency plans.

Schedule: The Masterclass is scheduled over 2 x 4 hour Virtual Sessions , conducted over a period of 2 consecutive weeks.

Info: In this first session, we examine the context for operations planning, and the importance of aligning operational objectives, targets and activities with the strategic and business objectives of the wider organization. You will learn about the format and structure of operations plans, and the initial preparation steps and information requirements to get started.

Info: In session 2, we examine the specific activities involved in operations planning including physical resources planning, workforce planning and scheduling, and production scheduling and management. You will learn about the best practices and systems used in these activities, and how to begin applying these to your own organization.
