Detroit Axe Presents: The Three Ring Circuit 2025Come one, come all: 2 venues, 3 days, and 6 tournaments! (RIP Detroit Axe East.)
The Three Ring Circuit is back for the third year – which means 3x the fun! The 2k25 edition will once again be a double major, featuring a Women's IATF Major Tournament AND an Open IATF Major Tournament. At least half of the entry fees from all events are guaranteed to go to the prize pool(s).
In addition to the two Major tournaments, we will also be hosting a mini-marathon, doubles tournament, big axe tournament, and skillz event to fill out the weekend.

DAY 1 - Friday, October 10th
MINI-MARATHON
LOCATION: Detroit Axe Corktown
TIME: 9am check-in, 10am start
COST: $40
FORMAT: 12 game regular season + playoffs. 16 thrower cap.
DOUBLES TOURNAMENT
LOCATION: Detroit Axe Corktown
TIME: 7PM -- it ends
COST: $80 per team
FORMAT: double elimination (maybe group play into double elimination)
DAY 2 - Saturday, October 11th
WOMEN'S IATF MAJOR: “The Fern”
LOCATION: Detroit Axe Ferndale
TIME: 9:00am check-in, 10:00am start time.
COST: $120
FORMAT: Double elimination, premier rules Women's IATF Major Tournament, open to all who identify as women.
BIG AXE TOURNAMENT
LOCATION: Detroit Axe Ferndale
TIME: 3:00pm (or after conclusion of Women’s Tourney)
COST: $40
FORMAT: Double elimination, standard rules, 5 & 7 round matches
DAY 3 - Sunday, October 12th
OPEN IATF MAJOR: “The Ben Potter Memorial Classic”
LOCATION: Detroit Axe Ferndale
TIME: 9am check-in, 10am start time
COST: $120
FORMAT: Double elimination, premier rules IATF Major Tournament, open to all throwers
SKILLZ: “The Big Bozo Wheel of Skillz Extravaganza”
LOCATION: Detroit Axe Ferndale
TIME: starts between 4pm - 6pm (or after end of open tournament)
COST: $30
FORMAT: wheel of skillz, double elimination, please see separate post regarding rules
