Full two days of detection dog training for all disciplines.This will be a workshop format, which allows you to start from the beginning phases, work through your current training plan, problem solve areas of your detection or tracking, or develop training, plans to help you move forward.
This workshop is fitting for anyone across almost any discipline. From American Schutzhund detection, AKC/NACSW, professional disciplines such as HRD, EDD, or Deer Blood Tracking, we can work with it all. Teams will be required to provide their own training aids, unless otherwise discussed.
Targeted areas that often come up in workshops are
Imprinting odor
Building trained final response/indication
Building better searching behavior
Handler proofing
Working through distractions
Reducing conflict between the dog and handler
This is a great opportunity to get the coaching you need to improve you and your dogs skills in detection or tracking disciplines.
