Punk rock might have been the force that brought Destroy Boys together, but it’s far from the only touchstone for their music. From their first record through the beginnings of their fourth, they have continued to write and sing about what they know and drive fans to notice them.
School drama and elitist cliques encountered in their teens have given way to the pain of relationships and the inherent feelings of misunderstanding and isolation that is all too common for young people navigating a hybrid of physical and digital worlds. The band has recently toured with some of the most legendary groups in pop-punk, from Blink-182 to Pierce The Veil.

Punk rock mag dan wel de kracht geweest zijn die Destroy Boys bij elkaar heeft gebracht, maar het is lang niet het enige herkenningspunt van hun muziek. Vanaf hun eerste plaat tot aan het begin van hun vierde, zijn ze blijven schrijven en zingen over wat ze kennen.
Maar nu hebben schooldrama en elitaire kliekjes uit hun tienerjaren plaatsgemaakt voor de pijn van relaties en de inherente gevoelens van onbegrip en isolatie die maar al te vaak voorkomen bij jonge mensen die door een hybride van fysieke en digitale werelden navigeren. De band heeft onlangs getoerd met enkele van de meest legendarische groepen in de pop punk, van Blink-182 tot Pierce The Veil.

Le punk rock a été le catalyseur qui a rassemblé les membres de Destroy Boys, mais il ne constitue pas le seul fondement de leur musique. Depuis leur premier album jusqu'aux prémices de leur quatrième opus, le groupe continue d’écrire et de chanter sur leurs expériences, captivant un public de plus en plus large. Les drames scolaires et les cliques élitistes de leur adolescence ont laissé place à des réflexions sur la douleur des relations, ainsi qu’à des sentiments d’incompréhension et d’isolement, des thèmes si courants chez les jeunes évoluant entre un monde physique et numérique. Récemment, le groupe a eu l'opportunité de se produire aux côtés de certaines des légendes du pop-punk, telles que Blink-182 et Pierce The Veil.
