Her sound is largely influenced by roots, old time, Blues, and Americana music, often compared to artists like Rhiannon Giddens and Norah Jones. Destinie has played Stagecoach Festivals Horseshoe stage, Black Americana Fest in New Orleans, opened for Christina Vane at The Grand Annex in San Pedro, CA, and toured with Black Opry.
