Sunday, APRIL 19th @St. Robert Community Center we will have our Dance Studio Daytime Lock In and recital practice for all recital classes. This is a pre-recital run through and then celebration together with all of our dancers performing in the recitals in June.
This helps with the flow, line ups, formations, spacing, building confidence, and shows us what we still need to work on in the weeks ahead of our actual dress rehearsal June 19th, and recitals June 20th, and 21st.
It is VERY IMPORTANT EVERY RECITAL DANCER BE IN ATTENDANCE! only backstage moms allowed, as we run it just like the recitals.
It will also be a potluck for the celebration of all our hard work (sign up genius will go out a couple weeks before)
Each class will have a designated time to be dropped of (staggering from older dancers to younger dancers so as to not back up the parking lot)
We will not wear costumes, but they will be required to wear their hair the same way they need to for the recital (that info for each class also coming soon)
Every dancer will need to come in black shorts, or black stretch pants, and the required Destination Dance shirt to keep uniformity. (The shirt link will be posted at the end of February)
They will need to bring all labeled dance shoes and tennis shoes... we will be running this like a recital dress rehearsal first, and then having fun playing games afterwards 😀
I will be posting drop off times for each class soon, as we know many have church, we won't be starting it till the afternoon 😉
We also know all dancers have school the next day so we are keeping that in mind (just for a general time frame expect we will start the rehearsal around 2:30 and plan to be done with everything and cleanup no later than 7:00.
AGAIN, EXACT details and times will be sent out way ahead of time so our dance parents are in the know and can plan🤗
