Meet at the Code Black Café in North Melbourne at 10am.
Ride along the Princes Freeway to Geelong to the waterfront (Cunningham Pier) for a short stop / rider pick up.
Make our way along the Bay via Clifton Springs Beach lookout to Portarlington for a coffee stop.
From Portarlington ride along the Bellarine Peninsula through Indented Head, St Leonards making our way to Queenscliff for lunch at the local pub.
After lunch, an option for those that live east side of the Bay, there is a ferry from Queenscliff to Sorrento, or continue riding around the Bellarine through Point Lonsdale, Ocean Grove to Barwon Bluff to experience the spectacular views of the mouth of the mighty Barwon River and surrounding beaches.
From here, riders head home a way to their preference, those for Melbourne, it is a short ride to the M1 (Princes Freeway) direct to Melbourne.
This is a scenic ride at speeds ranging from slow (through Geelong and small townships) to fast past freeways. It is a casual ride that offers great views, short stints and plenty of stops to have a coffee or toilet break.
