Martina Mamani, Siwar Qoyllur, “Messenger of the Star,” is a Medicine Teacher of the Andean Quechua tradition. She embodies the wisdom, humility, gentleness, and deep connection to Pachamama, Mother Earth that are the heart of her lineage.
A curandera and spiritual guide of the Indigenous community of Raqchi, in the Cusco region of Peru, Martina is also a guardian of the Temple of Wiracocha, the creator in the inka tradition. She supports and guides multiple communities throughout the Cusco region, devoted to the revival of ancestral rituals and the recovery of ancient Andean traditional medicine and knowledge.
Martina travels throughout the Americas, Asia, and Europe, giving voice to the rights of Mother Earth. She has been frequently invited to international cultural gatherings as a representative of the Andean tradition of Peru.
The Despacho Ceremony:
In the Andean tradition of Peru, the despacho ceremony lies at the heart of spiritual practice. This ancient ritual is a sacred act of reciprocity, in which offerings are given to the spirits of nature, who return them as healing energies.
The offerings: Coca leaves, fruits, sweets, grains, seeds, and flowers are placed with great care and intention, arranged into a specific geometrical shape of intricate beauty. This design symbolises harmony, balance, and the profound interconnectedness of all life.
Each element represents goodness and beauty, creating a living bridge between participants, the natural world, cosmic forces, and Spirit. The ceremony weaves together reverence and joy, embodying the principle of ayni the just and sacred exchange that underpins all right relationship.
Through conscious giving and receiving, both materially and spiritually, the despacho restores harmony, nurtures trust, and supports the rebirth of individual and collective consciousness.
This event is open to all genders and ethnicities, all brothers and sisters are very welcome!!

A Message From Martina :
My name is Martina Mamani Arosquipa.
I am the guardian of the Temple Wiracocha. For countless centuries, my roots have lived within the sacred sanctuary of the Creator of the world, of nature, and of life itself. I walk carrying the message of my ancestors, sharing Andean wisdom and working with the heart. i weave through the world:
Haylli Pachamama, Haylli Teqsi Muyu Pacha, Yachachi.
I am a grandmother, I am a sister, I am a daughter. I am a weaver. I am a messenger of the stars. I am the heartbeat and connection of the Qhapaq Ñan, the great Inka path.
My dream, my intention, is to birth this project: the school named Koriwasi, guided by the purpose of recovering and preserving the tradition that is slowly fading.
thE schools purpose is to learn how to connect with the vital force of each element of the universe, to become guardians of Mother Earth, to awaken as healers, women and men of medicine, to find our life’s purpose, to become beings of light and sustain our beloved planet, Pachamama With the blessing
of Apu Contiti Wiracocha, I await your great heart and your support to finish this little house, this little school.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Haylli Pachamama.
This is the purpose of the House of the Pilgrim Koriwasi.
All Funds raised through these events will go to support the building of this school of Ancestral Knowledge.
