Desmond Bishop Foundation Valentine's Day Event

The in association with Solano Christian Academy brings a youth Valentine’s Day Event to bring together education and sports. Our goal is to take academics and athletics to the next level with a talented group of kids who will be applying for this scholarship and attending Solano Christian Academy.

The event features a fashion show and talent showcasing of the students and staff of Solano Christian Academy. You also have the added treat of meeting Super Bowl champion Desmond Bishop.

Desmond Bishop, former linebacker for the Green Bay Packers and Super Bowl XLV Champion, returned to Solano County with a commitment to support homeless and at-risk youth. An alumnus of Fairfield High School, Mr. Bishop seeks to give back to the community and neighborhoods that played a vital role in his development as an athlete. Established in 2012, the Desmond Bishop Foundation is dedicated to empowering young people by fostering self-worth and providing opportunities for personal growth. The Foundation offers access to fitness training, sports coaching, and mentorship programs aimed at enriching the lives of disadvantaged youth. Serving Solano County and additional regions throughout California, the Desmond Bishop Foundation strives to address challenges faced by homeless and at-risk youth—whether emotional, financial, or otherwise—by assisting them in reaching their full potential through a variety of supportive initiatives.
