Join us for the inaugural Desire Athletics Athlete Combine and put your abilities to the test against athletes from across the region.
📅 Tentative Dates: • August 15, 2026 OR August 16, 2026 (Date will be finalized and announced ASAP)
📍 Location: Most likely within the Gurnee Park District (Location announcement coming soon)
⏰ Schedule: • Registration: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM • Competition Begins: 10:00 AM (Times subject to change)
Divisions: • Adult Men (18+) • Teens (13-17) • Women
Events: 1️⃣ Vertical Jump 2️⃣ Broad Jump 3️⃣ 40-Yard Dash 4️⃣ 5-10-5 Shuttle 5️⃣ Max Pull-Ups 6️⃣ Bench Press Repetitions
Bench Press Weights: • Adult Men: 185 lbs or 225 lbs • Teens: 135 lbs • Women: 95 lbs
Awards: 🏆 Highest Vertical 🏆 Longest Broad Jump 🏆 Fastest Athlete 🏆 Quickest Agility 🏆 Most Pull-Ups 🏆 Most Bench Reps (225 lb Adult Division)🏆 Overall Male Champion 🏆 Overall Female Champion 🏆 Overall Teen Champion
💲 Entry Fee: $30 📋 Waiver Required
This event also serves as a fundraiser supporting Desire Athletics and future strength and athletic development events in our community.
