About this Event
Design is an essential and exciting part of getting your photography out into the world. It’s not just about how your work looks—it’s about how you package it for pitches, exhibitions, websites, and how you see the connections within your projects. It’s about how design can elevate your work. But finding the right designer who truly understands your vision can be challenging.
In this workshop series with Salotto, you'll have the chance to learn from Amber Terranova, an experienced photo editor and educator who has worked closely with both photographers and design professionals. With Amber’s insights on your photography and the expertise of her longtime friends and collaborators—your design instructors, Lorenzo Fanton and Guillermo Brotons—you’ll receive valuable feedback to help shape and activate your projects toward the right publishing platforms.
Learn the fundamentals of design for books, website and branding in a two part workshop series. On the Friday before each workshop weekend, we'll gather for an aperitivo at Salotto from 7pm - 9pm. In Guillermo Brotons workshop from March 28 - 30 we’ll cover interactive website design and branding. In Lorenzo Fanton’s workshop from April 4 - 6, we’ll cover editing and sequencing, layout and production for photo books and PDF pitches for getting your work in front of industry professionals.

You'll also receive personalized feedback on your website, helping to refine and elevate your digital presence.
