"DeShaun Gordon-King's Sound Ritual is an immersive musical experience that brings together therapeutic music, chamber music, jazz and improvisation, electronics, and guided meditation to create a shared space for reflection, restoration, and connection. Drawing inspiration from traditions of sound medicine alongside contemporary musical practice, the performance invites audiences into an environment of deep listening where music becomes both artistic expression and communal ritual.

Created in response to the loneliness and isolation brought into sharp focus during the COVID-19 pandemic, DeShaun Gordon-King's Sound Ritual explores music’s capacity to foster presence, belonging, and connection. Through an expansive sonic landscape, the experience invites audiences to reconnect with themselves, one another, and the possibility of imagining a more compassionate and connected world."
