Desert Natural Area Signs of Spring Hike

March is a great time to hear spring peepers, spot salamanders, glimpse the first spring wildflowers and hear birds returning to their nesting grounds. On this hike, we'll look for early signs of life and Spring's arrival at the Desert Natural Area.

We will meet at the trailhead kiosk at the Concord Rd. parking lot at 1:00 PM (intersection of Concord Rd. and Mosher Lane across from 1100 Concord Rd). If the parking lot is full you can park on Mosher Ln. This walk is appropriate for anyone who is comfortable walking on natural forest trails.

Please dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes- we could have snow, ice or muddy conditions. In case of inclement weather, attendees will be notified on March 27th by 5PM whether the walk has been cancelled or rescheduled.
