DESERT MOB ARTIST TALKS ✨
Desert Mob Artist Talks is an unmissable opportunity for audiences to hear firsthand from Aboriginal artists and special guests about their work and projects, community and country.
This year, Artist Talks celebrates the 50th anniversary of land rights and the Vincent Lingiari Art Award through presentations, interviews, film, and performance.
2026 Program:

• Painting as Protest - Nyinkka Nyunyu Art and Culture Centre
• Walking Our Stories: Art on Country and the Runway - Ikuntji Artists
• Nurnaka Urrkaapuntja Tharrka Rinya | Our Work with Grass - Iltja Ntjarra (Many Hands) Art Centre + Arid Lands Environment Centre (ALEC)
• Our Choir Has Always Been Travelling - Hermannsburg Potters + Tangentyere Artists + Iltja Ntjarra (Many Hands) Art Centre
Morning tea will be available from 9:00 AM in the Araluen Arts Centre Foyer. Theatre doors will open from approximately 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM start (all times ACST).
