Come out to join fellow Alumni and the Upper Deschutes Watershed Council as Leadership Bend serves at the host for the 2024 Deschutes River Cleanup at Tumalo State Park.
As hosts, we will be responsible for setting up the volunteer station, greeting volunteers and working together to remove invasive weeds and litter. Not able to stay the entire time? No worries, we can organize a shorter shift for you.
The volunteer appreciation celebration will take place near Confluence Fly Shop in the afternoon following the cleanup from 3:00 - 5:00 pm (in the Old Mill). Wrap-up activities will include volunteer acknowledgment, thank you to sponsors, door prize giveaways, beverages, and food. What a wonderful way to celebrate a day of hard work and active stewardship.
