Join us for the second annual Des Moines Mushroom Festival on Sunday May 31, 2026 at Captain Roy's!This event is meant to be the venn diagram bringing together the many different aspects of mushroom lovers.
We want to create a shared space for mycology enthusiasts, local foragers, foodies, all around curious minds and those who just love mushroom aesthetics!
With vendors, workshops, foraging opportunities, an educational speaker series, music to boogie down to, costume contests and so much more to explore!
Come seasoned mushroom lover or beginning mushroom curious... this festival is for YOU to discover your own mycelium network within your community and have fun!
