The Des Moines Chapter of the Midwest Auto Care Alliance (MWACA) will be hosting a networking and panel discussion event so that students seeking a career in the automotive service industry have an opportunity to meet and learn from local independent shop owners and managers. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with students who are our industry's future technicians and discuss the skills employers look for in their hiring process, career opportunities in our industry, employer expectations, and much more.
The panel discussion will give shop owners, service advisors, and technicians a chance to talk about their experiences and answer questions from students entering in to the field. These students represent the new generation of automotive service professionals.
As an added bonus, there will be a tool giveaway for students who apply for the MWACA scholarship and are present at the event.
Join us to meet with these students and help strengthen the connection between schools, students and our industry to help secure the future of our industry.
