France, Maroc, Belgique · 94 min · Drame social et romantique

In Tangier, Mehdi works on the construction site of a luxurious villa in the kasbah. He is in a relationship with Selma, who works at a bakery. Their story shifts when he meets Marie, a wealthy French woman whose parents have bought the villa. Drawn to the glamorous world she represents, Mehdi distances himself from Selma, unaware that his choices will have irreversible consequences.

"Nadia Kounda captures all the attention. Her authenticity brings a breath of fresh air to this cruel satire."
