Celebrating Derbyshire Day by Bringing Employers and Defence Together
Join us for the inaugural Derbyshire County Employer Engagement Group (CEEG) Employer Forum, taking place on Derbyshire Day at the iconic County Hall in Matlock.
This special event will bring together employers, business leaders, Armed Forces representatives, local authorities, education providers and community partners to explore how organisations can support the Armed Forces community whilst strengthening their own workforce, leadership capability and social impact.
The Derbyshire CEEG plays a key role in promoting the Armed Forces Covenant across the county, helping employers understand the value that veterans, reservists, cadet force adult volunteers and military families bring to our workplaces and communities.
Whether your organisation is already actively engaged with the Armed Forces community or is just beginning its Covenant journey, this forum will provide an opportunity to:
• Learn about the work of the Derbyshire CEEG and its impact across the county
• Hear from employers who are successfully supporting the Armed Forces community
• Understand the benefits of signing the Armed Forces Covenant
• Explore pathways to Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Awards
• Network with businesses, public sector organisations and Armed Forces representatives
• Discover opportunities to support veterans, reservists, cadets and military families
• Share ideas and best practice with like-minded organisations
As we celebrate Derbyshire Day, this event will showcase how employers across the county are helping to build stronger communities, develop future talent and support those who serve our nation.
Who Should Attend?
• Business owners and senior leaders
• HR professionals and people managers
• Public sector organisations
• Education and skills providers
• Armed Forces Covenant signatories
