Derby Sacred Circle: Samhain Special

We invite you to join us for Derby Sacred Circle, an intentional space designed for pausing, reflecting, and reconnecting with ourselves and the natural world. This isn't about complex rituals or getting it right; it’s about making time to be present.

We meet to mark Samhain. Gradually, and then all at once we are at this threshold and embraced by darkness.
We are at the final harvest and end of summer. This is a time of magic, where the vail between worlds is at it's thinnest.

As part of this special event we will have a silent supper in the woods. We will be setting a place so our ancestors can join us for a simple, nuturious warm vegan meal.

🌿 What to Expect

This circle is open to all genders and requires absolutely no prior experience. We simply ask for an open heart and a spirit of respect.

Our philosophy is simple: Take what resonates, and leave what doesn’t.

· Guided Meditation: A group practice to ground our energy and quiet the mind.

· Silent Supper: You will be invited to join us for silent supper, and you might invite your ancestors too!

· Connect with the seasons: Consider what this time of year means for you.

· Nourishment: The food will be simple, warm, nuturious and vegan. There will be herbal tea and other refreshments available.

🕯️ What Does 'Sacred' Mean?

To us, sacred is synonymous with intentional.

It means we are carving out a dedicated moment in time to honor ourselves and the living world we are part of.
It is a space to be ourselves and build genuine connection.

🎒 What to Bring

The magic happens regardless of the temperature, so please come prepared!

• Comfort: A camping chair is a neccessity for this event.
• Light: A torch (or phone torch) to find your way through the woods.
• Warmth: There will be a fire to keep us warm. We will be able to move around to keep warm. It's worth wearing extra layers and bringing a blanket, and/or thermals, an oodie, a raincoat, a dryrobe...whatever you need to be comfy at this time of year.
• Weather Readiness: The ground gets muddy after rain, so walking boots or wellies may be a good idea. We hope to have a shelter available to us but encourage water proofs if needed.

• Location: You can meet us at the notice board in the main car park (A6 entrance) at 5.45pm, or go directly to the circle space. Full details to be provided by email before the event.
• Investment: £35
• Peace of Mind: We love the woods, but safety comes first. We might try to find an alternative venue or offer a refund if the event is cancelled due to storms, or strong winds.
