Saddle up for an unforgettable day of excitement, entertainment, and elegance at our annual Derby Day Event! Festivities kick off at 10am, followed by live music all day, Kentucky Derby viewing throughout the property, and an array of delicious food and drinks.

Tickets include event admission, one complimentary souvenir cup, participation in our derby hat & best-dressed contests, and photo opportunities with a Clydesdale!

Bring your friends and watch the Kentucky Derby while enjoying photo ops, a Clydesdale, and more! Mint julep wine slushies, wine, beer, and delicious food will be available for purchase. Dress to impress — there will be a derby hat contest and prizes for the winners of our best-dressed contests!

Enjoy a wide variety of Missouri wines, California wines, and wines from around the world — plus ask for one of our signature wine slushies! We also serve craft and domestic beer, as well as a mixed drink menu.

There will be a variety of food options available for purchase from The Smokehouse, including pulled pork, burgers, hot dogs, quesadillas, nachos, and more! There will be no regular sit-down lunch or dinner services at the winery!

Is There An Age Restriction?

Yes — this event is for guests 21 and up only!

Is There A Parking Fee?

No — general event parking is free!

Do I Need To Purchase Tickets to Visit the Winery on May 3rd?

Derby Day is a property-wide event on Saturday, May 3rd. You will need a ticket to visit us and partake in the fun!

Cedar Lake Cellars strongly encourages you to ONLY purchase tickets from Eventbrite (our exclusive ticketing partner). Ticket purchases from any other third party are not guaranteed to be authentic and subsequently do not guarantee entry. We do not have relationships with any other ticket vendor, so if problems arise, we cannot assist or verify your account information.

Do You Provide Refunds?

Similar to a sporting event, concert or festival, Cedar Lake Cellars does not offer refunds to events–even if there is a postponement.
