Today, we invite you to join us for Derby After Dark, an exciting event that combines the thrill of the Kentucky Derby with a night of fundraising to support employment initiatives for adults with disabilities. This year, Derby After Dark will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM
at Ameristar Casino.
The evening will kick off with the excitement of the Kentucky Derby race, followed by live music, auctions, and dancing — making for an unforgettable night! Be sure to dress in your best Kentucky Derby attire! By attending, you’ll help raise essential funds to create meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. We look forward to celebrating with you and making a lasting impact together!
Event timeline:
4:00 PM: Doors open - cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, and “Pick the Winner” table will be open!
5:30 PM: Livestream of the Kentucky Derby Race
6:00 PM: Opening remarks and award presentations
6:45 PM: Dinner, program, and live auction
8:15 PM: Live entertainment by Fix Newton and dancing
9:30 PM: Bars close
Since 1959, Boone Center, Inc. has been dedicated to helping adults with disabilities find meaningful employment. Our mission is to inspire personal growth and development by offering a wide range of innovative job opportunities. In 2024, BCI provided employment for 273 adults with disabilities across our St. Peters and Lincoln County facilities, supported 25 graduates through the Skills Center, and helped 40 individuals secure competitive jobs in the community.
