Department of Veteran Affairs Benefits and Services Clinic

The Evanston Vet Center, in collaboration with the Evanston Public Library, invites all Veterans, Reservist/National Guard, and their Family to our Department of Veteran Affairs Benefits and Services Clinic. The Clinic will be a one-stop event designed to help you understand and access the valuable benefits you have earned through your service. Whether you’re newly retired/separated or a long-time veteran, this Clinic will be packed with information and support tailored just for you.

Event Highlights Include:

VA Benefits Education/Filing – Get clarity on Healthcare, Disability Claims, Pension eligibility, and other Benefits. A Veteran Service Officer will be available to assist with filing requests for Benefits. For services involving Filing Claims please call 847-332-1019 to schedule an appointment in advance.

VA Healthcare Enrollment – Learn about VA Medical/Dental services, eligibility, and the Community Care Program. If interested in enrolling please bring a copy of your DD-214 with you to the Clinic. VA Spousal Support Services – Explore resources available to your loved ones in areas such as Caregiver Allowances, Survivor Benefits, and VA Disability adjacent Benefits.

Free parking is available in the library’s underground parking garage.
