About this Event
Did you know that around 20% of all land in the US is managed by the Department of the Interior - some 480 million acres? Join other grads of the 70s, 80s and 90s and find out about the department, which includes the National Park Service and the US Fish and Wildlife Service, protects our natural resources and cultural heritage.
We will view the DOI museum (which is only open weekdays) and tour the building to see its artwork. The entire tour will take 1 1/2 to 2 hours. After that, we will go for an optional lunch. There is no cost for this event, but by signing up you are committing to attend. We reserve the right, depending upon the reason or lack thereof, to bar last minute cancellations and no-shows from future tours.
DOI headquarters is 6 blocks from the Farragut North or West Metros. There are several commercial parking lots nearby. Street parking is very limited; you may want to use a parking app.
