Christmas and Olde Yuletime traditionally involved ghost stories (like Dickens’ Christmas Carol hauntings of old Scrooge), so figured we’d offer a haunted history walking tour of the downtown Square featuring tales of Christmastime fires, ghostly guardians, and macabre shenanigans of Denton’s Krampus from the archives of local lore!
We meetup at the grave of John B. Denton on the downtown courthouse lawn, $20 cash per person unless you were a #DentonHalloween partner promised a complimentary walkalong, and rated PG-13 for occasionally graphic historic descriptions and “colorful” language.
