By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Apply atraumatic extraction techniques, including controlled sectioning when indicated, to preserve the buccal plate and soft tissue architecture.
2. Assess socket anatomy and defect patterns to determine when ridge preservation is indicated and define the primary clinical goals.
3. Perform a pig jaw ridge preservation protocol with practical flap principles, graft placement and shaping, and membrane positioning and stabilization.
4. Complete secure closure and stabilization using practical suturing choices that protect the graft and support predictable healing.
