This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to assist dentists in the delivery of dental care. Students will learn the fundamentals of dental assisting, including patient communication, radiography, and dental procedures. The course covers the skills and techniques required to perform a variety of dental assisting tasks, including taking radiographs, preparing patients for treatment, and assisting dentists with various procedures.
(Radiation Safety and Protection is an additional fee of $145 through Oklahoma Dental Foundation. This will prepare you for taking X-rays on the job.)
