About this Event

Main Point Books and The Saturday Club welcome author/activist Denise Brown with her new book "For My Sister Nicole," a vital, trauma-informed book that illuminates intimate partner violence and the systems that enable it.

This is ticketed event. Tickets include a copy of the book with a donation to help end domestic violence.

Denise Brown was raised in a close-knit family in Orange County, California, and became known worldwide after the brutal 1994 M**der of her sister Nicole Brown Simpson. Denise testified in front of the US Senate Appropriations Committee for increased funding for the Violence Against Women Act; President Biden and Senator Hatch cited her as “having done more for the issue of domestic violence than any other individual.” After three decades of advocacy, she is a sought-after speaker and educator on this critical public health issue.
