M Premiere and MN Live present an exceptional evening of classical music featuring world-renowned pianist Denis Matsuev, gracing the stage of Dubai Opera on 3 May 2026. Acclaimed for his monumental sound, electrifying virtuosity, and profound artistic authority, Matsuev stands among the most distinguished pianists of our time.
He will be accompanied by the Academy of Russian Music Symphony Orchestra, led by acclaimed conductor Ivan Nikiforchin, in a performance that brings together orchestral brilliance and pianistic mastery.
At the heart of the program is Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, a masterpiece of Romantic expression, celebrated for its soaring melodies, emotional intensity, and dramatic power. Under Matsuev’s interpretation, the work unfolds with exceptional depth, passion, and technical command.
The evening will also feature symphojazz, introducing vibrant rhythmic energy and stylistic contrast, and offering audiences a captivating fusion of symphonic richness and jazz-inspired performance. The artist will be joined on the stage by guest soloists Andrey Ivanov (double-bass), Borislav Strulev (cello), Ekaterina Mochalova (domra), David Tkebuchava (drums).
