Demystifying Entrepreneurship: A conversation with those doing it

Are you successful in your job but feel lost on whether it’s the right path to continue down?

Have you had an exciting idea or two but just didn’t go off on your own?

Do you like the idea of working for yourself but don’t see yourself as the entrepreneur-type?

Curious about that freelance life but think ‘it’s too unstable!!!’ ?

Can’t imagine putting your heart out there starting a side business and, ugh, failing?

If so, then this night will inspire you with real stories and perspectives from different kinds of entrepreneurs. Dip your toe into entrepreneur to hear what it's like.

In one energizing night, we will:

• Demystify & reframe entrepreneurship.
• Show the various paths different kinds of entrepreneurs went on & why.
• Share wisdom from those who are doing it now.

The storyteller set up will help you explore entrepreneurship with curiosity & possibility. It’ll help you get clarity on whether entrepreneurship is something for you – be it now or later. If it’s not, then that’s also clarity ;).

Our featured storytellers are different kinds of entrepreneurs whose background was in the creative and business worlds. Storytellers are TBD (between 2-4 outside of me hosting).

If you’re someone who’s already in the business and creative world (halfway to entrepreneurship, hello!!) but feeling a bit lost on what you really want and working for yourself is a curious, enticing thought, then come join us!

Come surround yourself by others who are also entrepre-curious, compelled to shake up their work, how they work, and/or its role in their lives some way or another. Guests who will be encouraged to ask questions and interact. Bring a pen and notebook! There will be time to chat with folks too!

Michelle Arrazcaeta is a creative entrepreneur, award winning strategist (ex-W+K, Polaroid) and worklife coach for conscious creative business folks. She loves facilitating experiences and public speaking, even at weddings! Her search for aligned, energizing work led her to start Super Good Society, a transformation studio that fuses creative strategies and coaching skills so professionals lead meaningful change like the badasses they are without overwhelming stress.
