Have you wondered why people might join a board and what you might gain from it? Would you like to know what support is available to help you join a board? Join us for this free online event where we will demystify the world of boards and learn about what skills are valuable to a board.

This event is particularly focussed on refugees, people seeking asylum, migrant and New Scots interested in joining a board.

During the event you will hear from Julie-Anne Jamieson, immediate past president of Changing the Chemistry, Mahdi Saki​​​​ , Programme Development Officer (Refugees and Asylum Seekers) at the Mental Health Foundation, and also Sami Gichki, an asylum seeker with varied board experience including Co-chair #iWill Movement.
