5:30 p.m. - Natalie Merchant. The former lead vocalist with 10,000 Maniacs from 1981-1993, Natalie Ann Merchant is a singer/songwriter of international acclaim. As a solo artist she has brought her passion for social justice and activism to her lyrics and has been described by Vogue as “perhaps the most successful and enduring alternative artist to emerge from the eighties — intact and uncompromised.”
3 p.m. - The Bob Cats. A Hudson Valley treasure, The Bob Cats features Jerry Marotta, Kyle Esposito, Doug Yoel, Bruce Jay Milner, Rob Stein and Chuck Cornelis. They have become a mainstay of local venues, recently rocking the Dylan songbook with soul and fire.
4 p.m. Marc Black. A singer songwriter and true Hudson Valley legend.
4:10 p.m. The Blue Birds (Amy Fradon, Kirsti Gholson, Julie Last, Julie Parisi)
4:30 p.m. Kate Pierson. Founding B-52s member Kate Pierson has a wide-ranging singing voice that was a trademark of the band’s unique sound. She has collaborated with the Ramones, Iggy Pop and R.E.M.
6:30 p.m. - Jenna Nicholls. A Hudson Valley-based singer-songwriter with a stunningly beautiful voice, Jenna Nicholls’ music draws from classic Americana styles, including folk, country and early jazz. Influenced by the American Songbook, she creates songs that are grounded in strong melodies and clear storytelling.
7:30 p.m. - Gail Ann Dorsey. A vocalist and bassist with David Bowie from 1995 to Bowie’s last tour in 2004, Gail Ann Dorsey’s diverse range of work includes performances and recordings with The National, Lenny Kravitz, Bryan Ferry, Boy George, the Indigo Girls, Gwen Stefani, Charlie Watts, Seal, Ani DeFranco and Dar Williams.
8:30 p.m. - Professor Louie & the Crowmatix. Nominated for five Grammy Awards, Professor Louie & The Crowmatix perform an unforgettable mix of blues-infused rock and roots, creating an electrifying atmosphere. Known by the stage name Professor Louie, Aaron Hurwitz, is a singer, songwriter, and record producer who is also well known for producing three albums for The Band.
