Based in Woodstock, NY, Bourbon Sprawl mixes classic country with their own country-inspired originals to create a unique twang and groove. Standing on the shoulders of Willie, Johnny, Merle and other country greats, Bourbon Sprawl forges a unique sound based on the multivaried influences and backgrounds of its members.

The band released their latest album, Hickster, with a record release party Sep.18 at The Colony in Woodstock, NY. The album, the group’s second release after their 2023 self-titled debut, marks a quantum leap forward for the band and their mix of classic ‘outlaw country’ and their own modern sensibilities. Recorded by drummer Bram Kincheloe at his Sempervirens Studio in High Falls, NY, Hickster features 11 new songs written by the band and was mixed by Liberty, NY-based Matt Werden at his Space Acres Studio. Hickster is the band’s first without founding pedal steel guitar player Jon Light, who died from cancer in January.
