Bio:
Demetreis is a rising jazz Bass Trombonist and low brassist in Austin, TX and can be seen performing on both tenor and bass trombone all across Texas. After moving to Austin in 2023, Demetreis has hit the ground running and can be seen playing with groups of all sizes such as the University of Texas at Austin’s combos at Mozart’s to long-standing big bands such as the New Original Works (N.O.W.) Jazz Orchestra at the famed underground jazz filled speakeasy The Elephant Room. He shared the stage with many luminaries such as Brad Goode, Radam Schwartz, Nat Reeves to name a few. Studying under Austin greats Paul Deemer and Andre Hayward, Demetreis is a familiar sight (and sound!) in all of Austin’s adored music venues.
