Don’t miss a powerful evening with the President and Treasurer of the Gabby Petito Foundation, including a screening of “Break The Silence: The Gabby Petito Story”.

Gabrielle Venora Petito was on a cross-country road trip with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie, visiting national parks when he strangled her to death. Gabby’s story made national headlines as the world looked for her, praying she was still alive. In response to her death, the Gabby Petito Foundation was born. Her story has inspired people around the world and will continue to help others be free from the dangers of intimate partner violence.

Join us to watch Gabby’s story, and hear from Tara Petito and Nichole Schmidt about the work and legacy of the Gabby Petito Foundation.

The Gabby Petito Foundation is dedicated to ending domestic violence through awareness, education, prevention, and training. By empowering individuals and communities with the knowledge to recognize warning signs, respond effectively, and connect those in need with support, we strive to create safer futures for all.

A catalyst for self-discovery and personal growth, Demand to be Heard invites survivors to shatter the barriers of stigma, cultivate empathy, understanding, and support among a wider community. This platform raises awareness about the impact of trauma, challenges societal misconceptions, and fosters a culture of healing and resilience.
The Demand To Be Heard residency culminates with a weekend-long festival of events running from September 25th-27th, 2026.
