Join Lives of the Past for a captivating journey into history at Shibden Hall and get a hands-on experience of the weird and wonderful world of surgery and medicine in the 18th century.

📅 Saturday 11 April, 11am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 4pm
Through interactive encounters learn how health was understood in a time of great change and discovery.
Explore curious cures such as leeches and blood letting, as well as the bold beliefs and medical mysteries of the Georgians.
🎟️ This family friendly event is included with regular admission tickets on the day.
