ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE:
Unwind and connect with nature during our limited-edition Catalina Island Safari.
Our double-deck power catamaran Hoku Nai'a is more comfortable and less crowded than a ferry boat to Catalina!
We will be visiting Avalon, a beautiful European-esque historic town and harbor with many visitor amenities, restaurants, and shops.
During your shore time at Avalon, you can enjoy many experiences including snorkeling at Lovers Cove State Marine Conservation Area, swimming at the beach, shopping, visiting the Botanical Gardens, and golf cart or bike rentals. There are multiple restaurants to choose from for lunch.

You can also attend the 66th Annual Catalina Festival of Art. This is one of California's longest-running and most recognized art festivals! Artists from all over the country show and sell their works of fine art, jewelry, pottery, stoneware, sculpture, fine crafts, and photography along Crescent Avenue.
ITINERARY:
This itinerary is an estimate and travel time may vary depending on wildlife viewing and other factors out of our control such as wind and sea surface conditions.
• 8:00 AM – Depart Dana Point Harbor
• 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM – Arrive in Avalon and disembark the boat
• 3:30 PM – Return to the boat
• 4:00 PM – Depart Avalon
• 7:15 PM to 8:00 PM – Arrive back in Dana Point Harbor
🐳 Whale Watching Bonus: En route to and from Catalina Island you'll have the opportunity to view dolphins, whales including blue whales, fin whales, and humpback whales, as well as elephant seals, sharks and other fish, pelagic birds, and more.
Due to time constraints, we cannot spend an extended amount of time watching animals. This is not a dedicated whale watching experience.
